Stud and commercial buyers from Queensland, New South Wales, and the Northern Territory competed for quality genetics in the second annual Frontier Genetics Online Bull Sale, achieving a $6,600 average and grossing $673,000 from 102 bulls sold.

Both Stud and Commercial buyers from 3 states were active in the 2nd Annual Frontier Genetics Online Bull Sale which was conducted on StockLive Friday 30th August, 2024.

From an offering of 133 bulls, 102 were sold to achieve a clearance of 77%. The top priced lot achieved $25,500 with the overall sale averaging $6600 to gross $673,000.

The top priced bull was lot 60, Oak Park FG Remington which was offered by Roland E. Everingham of Oak Park Brahmans, Einasleigh and sold to Lawson Camm of Cambil Brahmans, Proserpine.

Selling agent Liam Kirkwood of Ray White Geaney Kirkwood said that although the clearance rate was back slightly on last year, it was extremely rewarding to see an improvement of $6000 on the top priced lot and the average up by $1200 on last year’s sale.

75 registered bidders were active in online sale and bulls found new homes as far south as Armidale in NSW, over the border into the Brisbane Valley, Burnett, Yaamba, Nebo, Clermont, Belyando, north to Charters Towers, Einasleigh, Forsayth, Georgetown, across to Hughenden, Julia Creek and Cloncurry as well as Katherine in the NT.
